Who we are
Cyberize.me (“we”) is the service described here, and decides how the data below is used.
What we collect, and why
Your account
Your email address, the display name you choose, the body shape you pick, and the date and version of the terms you accepted. We use them to create and run your account, which is the contract between us. Sign-in works through a link or code sent to your email by the Hartwell Bridge identity service, which Cyberize uses for accounts; the same account can be used in other Hartwell Bridge apps. While you are signed in, your browser holds a session cookie that expires after 30 days.
What you create
Your builds (their name, description, activity, products and positions), the personal products you add, and the builds you save as favorites. We store them so you can use them on any device. A build stays private until you share it: a shared link lets anyone with the link see it, and publishing it in the community shows it, with your display name, to everyone. You can make a build private again at any time.
Analytics, only if you allow it
If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to learn how the site is used: which screens are viewed, where the build wizard is left, which kinds of product are added, and when builds are saved or shared. We never send your email, your build names or descriptions, the names of your personal products, or share links. Google processes your IP address and sets its own cookies. Your choice is kept for 180 days; you can change it at any time from “Privacy settings” at the bottom of the home page. Without your consent, no analytics code is loaded.
Stored only in your browser
Some things never leave your device: a copy of the build you are editing, so it survives a reload (kept for 30 days); your language; a build waiting to be saved while you sign in (kept for 24 hours); and your analytics choice.
Who else handles it
- Our hosting provider runs the site, the API and the database.
- The Hartwell Bridge identity service manages sign-in and sends sign-in emails.
- Google, only if you accept analytics. Google may process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Account data, builds, favorites and personal products are kept until you delete your account. Deleting it, from the Account page, removes them together with your shared links. Sessions end after 30 days. Analytics data is kept by Google for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to its use, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting what was done before. You can delete your account, and everything it holds, yourself from the Account page. You can also complain to your data protection authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Age
Accounts are for people aged 16 or older, or older still where local law sets a higher age for consenting to online services.
Changes
When this policy changes, the version date above changes.
