Terms of use

What Cyberize is
Cyberize.me is a tool for exploring wearable and assistive technology and composing “builds”: combinations of products placed on a body, and on a bicycle. We do not sell products. Links to manufacturers take you to their own sites and terms.
Not medical advice
Cyberize does not diagnose, treat or prevent any medical condition. Product information comes from manufacturers’ public pages and can be incomplete or out of date; safety notes are general. Check the manufacturer’s specifications, instructions and contraindications before you buy or use a product, and ask a qualified professional when your health is involved.
Your account
You need an account to save, share or publish builds and to add personal products. You must be at least 16, or older where local law requires it, give an email address you control, and keep access to it: signing in is a link or code sent there. One account is for one person.
What you create
Your builds, their descriptions and your personal products stay yours. You allow us to store them and show them to you and, when you share a link or publish a build, to the people who can see it — including your display name for published builds. When you add a personal product, you also allow us to add its product information (never your name) to the public catalogue after review.
Do not publish anything unlawful, offensive, misleading or that belongs to someone else, and do not impersonate anyone. We may unpublish or remove content that breaks these terms.
Fair use
Do not try to break, overload or scrape the service, or to reach data that is not yours.
The service
We provide Cyberize as it is and may change, pause or end parts of it. We are not responsible for purchases you make, for how third-party products perform, or for harm from using them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
Law
If you use Cyberize as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live continue to apply, whatever these terms say.
Changes
When these terms change, the version date above changes.
